Kurikulum 2013 Revisi 2018 sangat menekankan pembelajaran yang berintegerasikan literasi keterampilan abad 21 yaitu keterampilan  4C ( Creative, Critical Thinking, Communicative, and Collaborative ), selain itu juga, pembelajaran pada kurikulum 2013 harus memunculkan karakter siswa yang relegius, nasionali, mandiri, gotong royong, dan integritas.

Inti dari penyusunan sebuah RPP harus mencantumkan KI atau Kompetensi Inti secara lengkap, mencantumkan KD secara lengkap dan relevan. Dan guru harus mencantumkan atau merencanakan Karakter apa yang akan dimunculkan setiap pembelajaran. dalam Tujuan pembelajaran harus ada istilah dengan A B C D

A= Audience atau siswa

B= Behavior

C= Condition atau kondisi

D= Degree atau tepat
